UNC-UVa in-game update: Wahoo gives a damn?

Since we’re less than 24 hours away from the epic UNC-UVa game at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, the media is abuzz with pregame columns about the state of these once-proud programs. The unbearable likeness of being a UNC football season ticket holder

In about 36 hours, I’ll be on my way to yet another football game at the University of North Carolina, my alma mater. The 1-4 “mighty” Tar Heels will take on the 4-2 Whosits from the University of South Florida. I say “whosits” because I’m not entirely sure what their mascot is, but given their record, I’m sure I’ll learn it pretty quickly. After all, when the opponent scores, the PA guy will say, “Touchdown, Whosits.” Read more…

Long time, no post, pt. 2: The well got even drier

OK, I went an entire month without posting anything. Why? Well, I have no good reason, other than I’ve been working like crazy.
